TAPPS Division II District 3 recap September 24, 2013
Cornerstone Christian's Davon Collins rumbled for the longest rushing play in TAPPS Division II District 3 this season in his game against Second Baptist last week. Collins scampered for 87 yards on the play and finished with 145 on the day as his team fell to the Fighting Eagles.
San Antonio Christian moved up to 307 from 422 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Lions climbed the ranks as a result of besting Blanco 35-11.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when TMI-Episcopal takes on Hyde Park Baptist. The Panthers' offense has racked up 122 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Panthers have allowed only 26 on the year.
