NorthPoint Christian Academy extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Gabe Spann. The NightHawks were the clear victors by a 74-52 margin over the Walnut Grove Christian Christian Warriors on Thursday thanks in part to Spann, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 27 points in addition to eight assists and five boards. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points.

Another player making a difference was Braxton Goodman, who posted two points along with 11 rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

NorthPoint Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Walnut Grove Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

NorthPoint Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Metrolina Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Walnut Grove Christian will be paying especially close attention to the NightHawks' contest: after the NightHawks face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Walnut Grove Christian again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
