Piketon came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Western Indians to the tune of 51-16. The Redstreaks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Piketon pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Western, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piketon will host Logan Elm at 6:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Western, they will be playing at home against Manchester at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Western is facing Manchester at the right time seeing as Manchester is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
