Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask SA Roosevelt). They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Clark Cougars on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rough Riders as it put an end to their 18-game losing streak.

SA Roosevelt's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-18. As for Clark, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

SA Roosevelt and Clark could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. SA Roosevelt will square off against Brandeis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday down 678 places (711 vs. 33). SA Roosevelt is no doubt hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses. Similarly, Clark (ranked 526th) will meet Reagan (ranked 117th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
