Baseball Recap: Tolar Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tolar won the last time they faced Comanche and things went their way on Friday too. The Rattlers put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 9-2 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Rattlers, who have now won four contests in a row.

Cutter Cain was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cain was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Lucas Mills was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Hunter Michels was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Tolar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.

Tolar's record now sits at 8-11. As for Comanche, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tolar will take on rival Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Comanche is set to face off against their familiar foe Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
