The Decatur Seahawks will be playing at home against the Cape Henlopen Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Decatur will be looking to keep their 18-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Decatur can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They breezed by Pocomoke at home to the tune of 88-44. Given Decatur's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Warriors are ranked 177th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Davin Chandler, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brycen Coleman, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Cape Henlopen came up short against the Ravens on Tuesday and fell 44-32. Cape Henlopen has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Cape Henlopen, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
