Joliet West had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lockport Porters by a score of 66-53. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Porters, too.

Joliet West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Lockport, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Joliet West and DePaul College Prep will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. DePaul College Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Joliet West likes a good challenge. As for Lockport, they will take on Plainfield North at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
