Upper Sandusky can  bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Bucyrus Redmen  3-2. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Redmen  back in August, they had to take a  3-2  defeat.
 Upper Sandusky took Bucyrus into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-22, 25-12, 24-26,  16-14.
 Madison Hart paced Upper Sandusky's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hart got some help from  Kennedy Guinther and her 35 assists.  Ava Saull and  Ella Frombaugh kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
Upper Sandusky's  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Bucyrus, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Sandusky will take on Crestview at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Bucyrus, they will face off against Northmor at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
