Jase Murphy put up the most strikeouts he's had over his last five matches on Wednesday. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He has become a key player for Minico: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise.

Murphy's strong effort led Minico over Burley and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
