Meanwhile, Brandon Valley entered their tilt with Aberdeen Central with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Everything went Brandon Valley's way against Aberdeen Central on Saturday as Brandon Valley made off with a 56-31 win. Brandon Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 25 points or more this season.
Brandon Valley found their leader in underclassman Alyvia Padgett, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Kennedi Deckert was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Yankton's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Brandon Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Yankton ended up a good deal behind Brandon Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, losing 43-25.
