Baseball Recap: Atoka Drops Highest Score of Season Against Vanoss

Atoka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-7 to the Vanoss Wolves. One positive for the Wampus Cats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Atoka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Vanoss, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Coming up, Atoka will head out to square off against Tishomingo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Atoka has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Vanoss, they will head out on the road to face off against Ripley at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
