Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aitkin). They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Pine City Dragons on Tuesday. The Gobblers haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Nolan Dotzler, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drew Paulbeck, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Aitkin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Aitkin's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Pine City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Aitkin will square off against Pequot Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine City, they will venture away from home to challenge East Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
