Two dominant signal callers in Jordan Wiggins and Kain Mincey are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Northeast Raiders will challenge the Dodge County Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Northeast will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 13 points on October 3rd, then bounced right back against Central on Thursday. The Raiders breezed past the Chargers to the tune of 61-6. With the Raiders ahead 55-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Keandre Jackson and JaCorey Johnson were among the main playmakers for Northeast as the former picked up 97 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns and the latter rushed for 69 yards and one score. What's more, Jackson posted two receiving touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Reginald Glover also helped with two TDs in total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northeast was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Northeast, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Glover, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Dodge County came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Warriors 51-12. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Warriors are ranked 384th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Northeast better keep an eye on Jauriel Bray. He was instrumental in Dodge County's win, picking up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Dodge County's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Jamal Smith with two. Dodge County received some extra help from Tanner Williams, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Northeast's record is now 6-2. As for Dodge County, their record now sits at 7-1.
Everything went Northeast's way against Dodge County when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Northeast made off with a 40-19 victory. In that contest, the Raiders amassed a halftime lead of 27-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
