On Friday Shiprock take on Wingate at HOMECOMING 2018 at 6:00 PM. Shiprock come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
There's no need to mince words: Shiprock lost to St. Michael's last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-56. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Wingate, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They suffered a grim 0-28 defeat to Crownpoint.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
