The Miller Buccaneers won the last time they faced the La Feria Lions, and things went their way on Thursday too. Miller breezed by La Feria at home to the tune of 81-18. With Miller ahead 46-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Miller was led to victory by Alex Zamora and George Simmons. Zamora scored 16 points, while Simmons scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jaedyn Brown, who scored 10 points.
Miller's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for La Feria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
Miller will face off against Harlingen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harlingen is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games. La Feria is on the road again on Tuesday and play against San Benito at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
