Petrolia found their leader in underclassman Maddy Ruddy, who scored ten points along with six steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kelly Daniels, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Petrolia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Hirschi, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Petrolia will look to defend their home court on Friday against Nocona at 6:00 p.m. Nocona presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Petrolia in Texas (Nocona is ranked 39th, while Petrolia is ranked 999th). As for Hirschi, they will head out on the road to face off against Burkburnett at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
