The Liberty Christian Warriors suffered their biggest defeat since November 21, 2023 on Friday. Their rough 68-42 loss to Midland Christian might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Liberty Christian has scored all season.
Liberty Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Easton Hupp, who scored 17 points, and Chuka Akpom who scored seven points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Akpom posted two or more blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Liberty Christian and nudges their season record down to 9-18. As for Midland Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian will take on All S at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midland Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
