With a playoff game on the line, the Grant Pacers rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 40-14 margin over the Timberwolves. Considering Grant has won ten matches by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Wayshawn Parker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Parker was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Another player making a difference was Luke Alexander , who threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Grant, bringing their record for this year to 11-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Woodcreek, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Grant will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Rocklin at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Rocklin: 14.7, Grant: 10.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Woodcreek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
