With a playoff game on the line, the Mandarin Mustangs rose to the challenge on Friday. They managed a 28-24 victory over the Seminoles. The win was familiar territory for Mandarin who now have three in a row.
Mandarin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tramell Jones, who threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. Tiant Wyche and his 96 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Mandarin's win.

Mandarin will head out on the road to face off against Monarch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monarch is on a three-game streak of home wins, Mandarin a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
