Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask George County). They strolled past Richton with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 77-63. George County hasn't had any issues with Richton recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Richton still got an impressive performance from Daylin Carter, who shot 40% from the field en route to 20 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Brown, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

George County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Richton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

George County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-55 victory against Greene County on the 13th. As for Richton, they have also already played their next contest, a 68-49 loss against St. Andrew's Episcopal on the 13th.
