Rochester STEM Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Rochester STEM Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 85-61 loss at the hands of Bethlehem Academy.
Despite the loss, Rochester STEM Academy had strong showings from Ilyas Hassan, who scored 18 points along with five assists and three steals, and Ismail Nur, who scored 18 points. Saeed Mohamed was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Plainview-Elgin-Millville can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Lyle/Pacelli by a score of 55-47.
Rochester STEM Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.
