Space Coast is 3-0 against Pine Ridge since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Space Coast Vipers will get right back to it and host the Pine Ridge Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Space Coast will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Space Coast is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing West Shore: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Space Coast blew West Shore out of the water with a 57-10 final score. The Vipers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Space Coast found their leader in sophomore Phillayjah Carroll, who posted 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lashiya Walker, who had 13 points.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pine Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They enjoyed a cozy 54-37 win over Calvary Christian Academy back in December of 2024.
Space Coast better keep an eye on Serenity Cressor. She was instrumental in Pine Ridge's win, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 19 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cressor has scored at least a third of Pine Ridge's points. Another player making a difference was Imani Ihaza, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 17 boards.
Pine Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Space Coast pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Pine Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Space Coast was able to grind out a solid victory over Pine Ridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 52-44. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Cressor, who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 19 boards, and ten steals.
