Each week during the season (regular and
post), there will be a fan-generated contest to
tab weekly winners. Each winner receives a
letter and award patch for their varsity jacket.
How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.
Last week over 50,000 votes were cast. So far this
school year 5.2-million votes have been cast.

BasketballSophomore had 57 and 56 points in wins
over MAST Charter II (70-20) and Randolph Vo-Tech (83-15). Averaging 43
points and 3.5 steals.

BasketballSenior dropped 56 and 36 points in wins
over Williamson (94-18) and Wyalusing Valley (73-69). Averaging 25.3
points.
* Landon Bainey, West Branch (Morrisdale)
WrestlingJunior won the 114-pound title at the
Ultimate Warrior Tournament with three pins (1:23, 1:04 and 1:02) and
2-0 and 2-1 decisions in the semifinals and final, respectively. Is 32-1
this season with 24 pins.

Freshman won the 125-pound title at the Edinboro Open competing against college wrestlers. He won his four matches via tech fall, major decision, tech fall and pin.
Senior had 34 points in a 78-59 win over Belle Vernon and 27 in an 81-56 win over Albert Gallatin. Averaging 24 points.
Sophomore had a triple-double (19 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocks) in a 54-26 win over Owen J. Roberts. Averaging 17 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks.
Senior had 18 points and 10 assists in a 60-47 win over West Mifflin and six points, 10 assists and four rebounds in a 59-42 win over Rochester. Also had 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds in a 53-51 win over Avonworth. Averaging 11.3 points, 3.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds.
Senior had 33 points, 13 rebounds and four steal sin a 52-40 win over Central. Also had 19 points and 13 rebounds in a 57-26 win over Central Cambria and 17 points and 14 rebounds in a 42-38 win over Bishop Carroll. Averaging 21.2 points, 10 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.4 assists.
Senior had 15 points and 13 rebounds in a 49-39 win over Halifax and 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 58-44 win over Tulpehocken. Also had 13 points, six rebounds and five steals in a 66-58 loss to Oley Valley. Averaging 13.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Senior had 28 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and six steals in a 55-40 win over Northeast Bradford and 26 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 70-64 win over Wyalusing Valley. Averaging 17.9 points, nine rebounds, four assists and 2.9 steals.
Senior had 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in a 50-12 win over Moshannon valley. Also had 23 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in a 45-29 win over West Branch and 22 points and 10 rebounds in a 62-17 win over Harmony Area.
