The Glenwood City Hilltoppers will head out on the road to face off against the Clear Lake Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Glenwood City has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Clear Lake will arrive with six straight victories.
On Thursday, Glenwood City didn't have quite enough to beat Webster and fell 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Glenwood City sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 24-26, 15-10.

Glenwood City's loss came about despite a quality game from Opal Voeltz, who had 19 digs. Voeltz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Meanwhile, Clear Lake earned a 3-1 win over Mondovi on Thursday.
Clear Lake was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-8, 25-16.
Glenwood City better focus on containing Brena Dimler and Ayla Monson as the pair were huge in Clear Lake's win. Dimler had 21 digs and two aces, while Monson had 23 assists and four digs. The dominant performance also gave Dimler a new career-high in assists (four).
Clear Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matchups.
Clear Lake's record is now 19-8. As for Glenwood City, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Glenwood City has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Clear Lake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
