There's no place like home for the Brilliant Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 54-36 win over Tremont on Monday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Brilliant has managed all season.
Tremont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Leo Cousseau, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Andrew Curtis, who scored nine points.
The win got Brilliant back to even at 6-6. As for Tremont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Brilliant will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Waterloo at 6:20 p.m. on December 28th. Tremont will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brilliant at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
