After flying high against Southern Durham last Wednesday, Northern Durham came back down to earth. The Northern Durham Knights suffered a tough 13-2 loss at the hands of the Apex Cougars on Monday. Northern Durham will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against East Chapel Hill at 4:00 p.m. East Chapel Hill knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with flashy run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Northern Durham likes a good challenge. As for Apex, they will be playing at home against Panther Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apex is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
