It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Arroyo had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Saddleback Roadrunners 60-58. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Saddleback lost, don't look at Christopher Trotter. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-16 en route to 28 points. That was a full 48.3% of Saddleback's points, marking the sixth time in a row Trotter has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Soberanis, who scored 16 points.

Arroyo's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-11. As for Saddleback, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.

Looking ahead, Arroyo will square off against Rosemead at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th. Rosemead will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Arroyo surely won't give up without a fight. Saddleback does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
