Rio Grande hasn't had much luck against Albuquerque recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Rio Grande Ravens will face off against the Albuquerque Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Having struggled with 16  defeats in a row, Rio Grande  turned things around against Atrisco Heritage Academy  on Tuesday. They took down the Jaguars 47-32.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rio Grande to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Riley Starks, who  posted 17  points and six  rebounds.  Meanwhile, Albuquerque entered their tilt with Los Lunas on Tuesday with six consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with seven. They strolled past the Tigers with  points to spare, taking the game  49-33.
 Rio Grande's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-16. As for Albuquerque, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season.
 Rio Grande came up short against Albuquerque when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, falling  54-48. Can Rio Grande avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
