Volleyball Recap: Chicago University Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Chicago University, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against British International School of Chicago by a score of 2-0 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Maroons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Kylie Carter paced Chicago University's offense, picking up seven kills. Carter got some help from Gigi Wood and her eight assists. Zora Peek Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chicago University is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for British International School of Chicago, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Chicago University will square off against Latin on Wednesday. As for British International School of Chicago, they will be playing at home against Morgan Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
