Lima have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they take on Valley Christian at 1:00 PM. Valley Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Lima will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Two weeks ago, Lima couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up forfeiting their game against Noxon 0-2.
Meanwhile, don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Valley Christian and Gardiner were playing football. Valley Christian took their match against Gardiner last Friday by a conclusive 75-52 score. Valley Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Lima's loss took them down to 0-1 while Valley Christian's win pulled them up to 2-1. We'll see if Lima are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
