On Friday Shelby take on Simms at 7:00 PM. Shelby are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Simms are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Shelby got themselves on the board against Centerville last Saturday, but Centerville never followed suit. Shelby were fully in charge, breezing past Centerville 50-0. Followers of Shelby probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Simms came into their this week averaging 43 points per game, but Simms fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-56 to Chinook.
Shelby's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Simms's defeat dropped them down to 2-3. Shelby have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 51 points per game. We'll see if Simms can find some way to disarm them.
