Softball Recap: Clearview Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vineland, Clearview was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Absegami Braves by a score of 6-3. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 9-4 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Clearview is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Absegami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

Coming up, Clearview will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingsway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Absegami, they will head out on the road to take on Atlantic County Institute of Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Absegami is facing Atlantic County Institute of Tech at the right time seeing as Atlantic County Institute of Tech is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
