Macomb won the last time they faced Rockridge and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bombers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Rockets 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bombers.

Macomb got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily Westerhold out in front who had 14 digs and two assists. Anistyn Lovell also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Macomb's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Rockridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Macomb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against East Moline United on the 11th. As for Rockridge, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] on the 11th.
