Baseball Recap: Lowell Has No Trouble Against Forest Hills Central

Lowell won the last time they faced Forest Hills Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Arrows blew past the Rangers 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Red Arrows, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ty Wasilenski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mason Brown and Blake Sitzer did most of the damage at the plate: Brown went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run, while Sitzer went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. That's the most runs Sitzer has posted since May 5th. Logan Dawson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 23-11-1. As for Forest Hills Central, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

As of now, neither Lowell nor the Rangers have any future games scheduled.
