McAdory has gone a perfect 3-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Yellowjackets will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Central will be up against a hot McAdory squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Yellowjackets breezed past Brookwood to the tune of 54-26 last Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Yellowjackets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Panthers are ranked 159th).

McAdory's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Patton led the charge by throwing for 254 yards and five touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Patton a new career-high in passer rating (134). Derrion Davis handled things on the ground, rushing for 127 yards and a rushing touchdown.
McAdory was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 293 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 212 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They blew past Gardendale, posting a 49-14 victory. Considering the Falcons have won four games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
McAdory better keep an eye on Anthony Dixon. He was instrumental in Central's win, rushing for 126 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries, while also picking up 32 receiving yards and one score. Dixon's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards. Another player making a difference was Armani White, who threw for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 16 passes.
McAdory's record is now 4-0. As for Central, their record now sits at 5-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. McAdory has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 292.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 253.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything went McAdory's way against Central in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as McAdory made off with a 31-10 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
