Spanish Springs not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th. They put the hurt on the Carson Senators with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Senators, too.

Spanish Springs has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Carson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Spanish Springs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Senators: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
