After three games on the road, Bainbridge-Guilford is heading back home. They will take on Deposit-Hancock at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Deposit-Hancock took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bainbridge-Guilford, who comes in off a win.
Back in January, Bainbridge-Guilford had just enough and edged the Blackhawks out 54-51.
Meanwhile, Deposit-Hancock came up short against the Spartans on Thursday and fell 59-49. Deposit-Hancock has struggled against the Spartans recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Deposit-Hancock got a solid performance out of Blake Fortunato, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That was a full 42.9% of Deposit-Hancock's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Russell, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Bainbridge-Guilford now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Deposit-Hancock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
