The Montclair Mounties's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 62-51 to Millburn. Montclair was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Millburn apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Among those leading the charge was Noah Ravitz, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zach Benmorits, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Montclair's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Millburn, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Montclair will be home for the holidays to greet Verona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millburn won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Newark Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
