The Fleming Wildcats won the last time they faced the Flagler Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Fleming simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Flagler 51-22 at home.
Fleming's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Schaefer, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. Schaefer is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ashley Bornhoft was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Flagler lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sydnie Berry, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Jaylie Stone, who scored six points.
Fleming now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Flagler, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
