The Frankfort Hot Dogs will head out on the road to face off against the Marion Giants at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Frankfort and five for Marion.
Last Friday, Frankfort took a serious blow against Crawfordsville, falling 44-12.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 41-7, which was the final score in Marion's tilt against McCutcheon on Friday. Marion was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.
Frankfort's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged six points per game. Marion has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
