Northwest Rankin had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the Petal Panthers. Considering the Cougars have won 14 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
