While Jayton put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lueders-Avoca. The Jaybirds took their game with ease, bagging a 60-0 victory over the Raiders. Fans of the Jaybirds have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Jayton's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Lueders-Avoca, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jayton will face off against rival Aspermont at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Jaybirds 5.9, the Hornets 9) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lueders-Avoca is set to square off against their familiar foe Paint Creek at 7:30 p.m. on November 1.
