The Highline Pirates won the last time they faced the Evergreen Wolverines, and things went their way on Saturday too. Highline put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 64-44 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Highline.
Highline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marquawn Mccraney led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Mccraney hasn't dropped below 17 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Rashad Carriere, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Highline's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Evergreen, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
Highline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Evergreen also has no future games currently scheduled.
