While not quite a landslide, the matchup between Hasbrouck Heights and Butler last Friday was still a pretty decisive one as Hasbrouck Heights wrapped it up with a 30-15 victory. No one put up better numbers for Hasbrouck Heights than senior Jasiah Purdie, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns. Purdie has been a consistent playmaker for Hasbrouck Heights as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.
As for North Arlington, North Arlington had a rough outing against Emerson two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. North Arlington were gifted an easy win as Ridgefield Memorial wound up forfeiting 0-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for North Arlington as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Hasbrouck Heights to 5-0 and North Arlington to 1-5. Two forfeits in a row aren't very likely, so North Arlington better be ready for a battle.
