Julian Perez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). Perez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Rivas was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Northeast let Calvin Castro and Eliezer Garcia-Guzman loose on the outfield. Castro scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Garcia-Guzman went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
