Make it 13 blowout wins for the Hamilton Aggies this season. They claimed a resounding 76-28 win over Hackleburg at home. The victory was nothing new for Hamilton as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamilton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aubrey Sorrells, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Sorrells hasn't dropped below 16 points for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Emily Jones, who scored 15 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Hackleburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on the Tigers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Brilliant is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Hackleburg, they and the Pirates will face off on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
