Despite the loss, Pine Forest had strong showings from Christian Baynes, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards, and Angelo Jones, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. Jones is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 11 games he's played. Meanwhile, Jordan beat Chapel Hill 59-46 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Jordan pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points over those games. As for Pine Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
