Softball Recap: Robichaud Drops Season-High Score on Annapolis

Robichaud extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-9 in the process. They came up short against the Annapolis Cougars, falling 22-6. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Annapolis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The result was nothing new for Annapolis, who have now won eight contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

For Annapolis' part, Brooke Bianchi 2025 was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bianchi 2025 has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those hits marked the first that she has got this season.

In other batting news, Joselle Grimm 2026 and Alexis Mousseau 2028 did most of the damage at the plate: Grimm 2026 got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double, while Mousseau 2028 got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. With that strong performance, Grimm 2026 is now averaging an impressive 1.5 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Rihanna Diggs 2026, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
