Make it six blowout wins for the Marina Mariners this season. They blew past Stevenson 67-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Marina has posted since December 20, 2023.
Julius Robinson was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalik Kennedy, who scored 12 points.
When it comes to explaining why Stevenson lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Nile Glover. Despite the final result, he scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals. Glover has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Tate Toole was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Marina's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Stevenson, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Marina will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Pacific Grove at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Pacific Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Friday. As for Stevenson, they will head out on the road to square off against Watsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
