The Skyline Eagles were the 54-48 winner over the Olympus Titans when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Skyline took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Olympus on Tuesday. Skyline has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Joss Baker, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds for Olympus. Another player making a difference was Keily Trabanino, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Olympus, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.
Skyline will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Sophie Nielsen and Cami Groberg. As for Olympus, they will head out on the road to take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
